Re: Dare to Do
I think the foundation of having a True Dream is to Love others Perfectly. Daisaku Ikeda from SGI Nichiren Buddhism once said that we should view ourselves as "The Hero Of The World" much like the Buddha is viewed as the World Honored One. This is not a thing of Ego or desire to lord authority over others, but on the other hand to serve others and save them from their suffering. This is the purpose of life. To teach others Spiritual things and live communualy in Peace and harmony with others while guiding them through their Spiritual Paths in order so that they become Buddhas and reach their potential is the stewardship goal of the great Teachers of this world. To become a Spiritual Master one must live for Spirituality and nothing else, and then the world of all goodness will open up to them. The greatest foundation of this is perfect morality, and in perfect morality one finds Perfect Love for others, and when the Buddhist state of no-regression is reached with regards to Buddhahood, then the freedom of Living One's Dream shines through, and every moment in life is a thrill, not necessarily because you're on some sort of emotional rollercoaster of adventure, but because you are constantly Loving others and converting them to the Buddha Way, and this brings one to the Highest Places, to the Spiritual World and into the hearts of the followers of the Supreme Lord.
