This is a great resource on Islam and the life of Muhammad and this site is maintained by the Ex-Muslims of North America.

Since 2018 this group has been monitoring WikiIslam:

https://exmuslims.org/about-us/

They have a detailed report & articles on apostasy among Muslims, mainly North American:

This small group is trying to reform Islam. I doubt if they will have much success.

The path of apostasy is better, even though dangerous.

Yes I also highly agree that if one does not agree with the religion they are born into, then it is better for them to apostatize.
One of the main concerns is that in countries where there is Islamic law it is a criminal offense for a Muslim to leave Islam and be irreligious or join another religion.

I actually had no idea about how much people can make up myths just to defend what their political narrative makes them want to think. Its a shame that nowadays more and more people are starting to lose their sense of originality where they have to depend on collective group think to tell them what type of beliefs and attitudes they should align themselves with.

As a Buddhist, I am disappointed that in the west, some 'teachers' use Buddhist groups as a platform to propagate ideas of progressive liberalism in the disguise of 'Buddhist teachings'.
